What Is Korean Hand Therapy?
Korean Hand Therapy (KHT) is an accomplished and effective micro-acupuncture system that was discovered by Tae Woo Yoo PhD, a Korean acupuncturist, in the 1970s. He discovered that the hands reflect the anatomy and physiology of the whole body and that by gentle stimulation of these points we could treat, rebalance and address many health conditions. There are 403 reflex points located on the hand, all of which can benefit equally from acupressure as well as needles, so this is an excellent therapy for those who may be uncomfortable with needles.

How Does It Work?
It is believed that the stimulation of the hand can modulate the nervous system and restoring balance within as there are many nerve fibres located on the hands as there are around the whole body.
Korean Hand therapy reflects the body and utilising various methods of stimulation can help to manage, rectify and aid many health conditions. Such methods may include acupressure, moxibustion, needles and small acupressure discs that can be self stimulated. One of the main advantages of this treatment is that it is very easy for me to share with you how to perform treatment on yourselves away from clinic, to aid your healing journey.
