Manya Michailidis is a fully qualified and highly experienced therapist, who has been practising for over 25 years.
Having suffered from an injury that forced her to retire from competitive sport, Manya chose to move into therapy enabling her to share her knowledge and experiences with others. Manya is passionate about her job, thoroughly enjoying the opportunity to care and promote well-being, in an understanding and supportive role.
Manya believes that an open approach is best and has furthered her skills to promote this. As a result she has a substantial skillset amongst an exceptional and varied clientele. To compliment her treatment skills, Manya is also a Specialist Biomechanics Coach, proficient in myofascial release, Cupping Therapy, GuaSha, Moxibustion, Dry-Needling as well as Kinesio and Dynamic Taping. Together it results in a complete treatment package. To assist with aftercare and re-habilitation, Manya is also a qualified Stott Pilates Instructor, personal trainer, pre & post-natal exercise, aqua instructor and spin instructor.
Since 1996, Manya has enjoyed working in a variety of sporting fields such as athletics, tennis, fitness, motor sport, ice-hockey, basketball, triathlon, football, rugby, hockey. In 2000 she joined the team at the WTA Tour, travelling the world providing sports massage therapy and now acupuncture at many international venues for the worlds best tennis players.
In 2012 Manya worked her dream job at the London Olympic (tennis mens & womens) and the London Paralympic Games (athletics).
