Manya Michailidis
Manya Michailidis is a fully qualified and highly experienced therapist, who has been practising for over 25 years.
Having suffered from an injury that forced her to retire from competitive sport, Manya chose to move into therapy enabling her to share her knowledge and experiences with others. Manya is passionate about her job, thoroughly enjoying the opportunity to care and promote well-being, in an understanding and supportive role.
Manya believes that an open approach is best and has furthered her skills to promote this. As a result she has a substantial skillset (detailed below) amongst an exceptional and varied clientele. To complement her treatment skills, she utilises all her skills within each treatment so that you the patient receive exceptional care. As well as a soft tissue therapist she is also a 5 Element acupuncturist, a rare combination combining traditional therapies with more modern techniques enabling her to treat many conditions and ailments.
Since 1996, Manya has enjoyed working in a variety of sporting fields such as athletics, tennis, fitness, motor sport, ice-hockey, basketball, triathlon, football, rugby, hockey. In 2000 she joined the team at the WTA Tour, travelling the world providing sports massage therapy and now acupuncture at many international venues for the worlds best tennis players.
In 2012 Manya worked her dream job at the London Olympic (tennis mens & womens) and the London Paralympic Games (athletics).

The British Acupuncture Council is a member of the Accredited Register scheme run by the Professional Standards Authority which is backed by the government, Manya has full membership with the British Acupuncture Council
