IMG_4052In March 2019, I officially become a ‘mature’ student, as I embark on a 3 year, Professional Licentiate in Acupuncture. This is the equivalent of a bachelor degree with honours in the UK.  The course is split between Traditional Chinese medicine and Five Element acupuncture. The course and college is recognised by the British Acupuncture Council.

I’m really excited and yet incredibly nervous, as its been quite a while since this brain has had to start producing assignments, portfolio’s etc. But hopefully, in the end, it will be you guys who benefit.

I’ve made this choice to simply enhance and prolong my career. I truly believe that we can never learn enough, and that this will further expand my skills whilst allowing me to continue to manage my practice. I will as a result need to spend at least one day a week with my head in books so,  as a result I will be cutting back treatment hours on a Wednesday. Other than that, nothing else will change. I love what I do, and I’m hoping that this additional skill will help me to become a much better therapist and that you’ll reap the rewards. I currently work with a variety of skills and my time with you, is a combination of those, and acupuncture will not affect this.

Thank you for your time and support, and hopefully it will be a fun and enjoyable journey for us all.
